Steve Krug

Steve Krug (pronounced "kroog") is best known as the author of Don't Make Me Think: A Common Sense Approach to Web Usability, now in its second edition with over 300,000 copies in print.

Steve has spent 20 years as a usability consultant, evaluating and improving interfaces for clients like Apple, Lexus.com, Bloomberg.com, Magazines.com, Move.com, NPR, Kidzui, and the International Monetary Fund.

Steve's consulting firm, Advanced Common Sense ("just me and a few well-placed mirrors") is based in Chestnut Hill, MA. He currently spends most of his time teaching usability workshops, consulting, and telling people about his new book about do-it-yourself usability testing: Rocket Surgery Made Easy.

Lou Rosenfeld

Lou Rosenfeld is an information architecture consultant and founder of Rosenfeld Media, a publisher of short, practical user experience books. He has helped numerous Fortune 500s and other large, messy, political enterprises make their information easier to find.

Lou is co-author of the best-selling Information Architecture for the World Wide Web, regarded as the bible of information architecture with over 200,000 copies in print, and author of Search Analytics for Your Site: Conversations with Your Customers. He is co-founder of the Information Architecture Institute and annual IA Summit conference.

Anders Ramsay

Anders Ramsay — author of the forthcoming book Designing with Agile (to be published by Rosenfeld Media, 2011) — has been practicing User Experience Design for over a decade for clients like Sony, Viacom, Turner Broadcasting, FOX, CBS, Deutsche Bank, Fidelity and JP Morgan. He is also highly active in the UX community as an instructor; panellist and speaker; and as founder and organiser of the New York City Information Architecture Meetup, which has over 700 members.

Anders contributes to Boxes & Arrows and blogs about all things UX at www.andersramsay.com. He currently works a User Experience Design consultant in New York City, guiding organisations and design teams in how to more effectively apply Agile practices in their work.
